Liverpool 1-0 Blackburn Rovers
scorer: Djibril Cisse (75)
second win the whole season, and a well-fought crucial match. LFC sent a clear message that they aren't about to give up their title chase this season, bouncing back magnificently after the defeat by chelsea the last gameweek. and oh my gosh. Cisse is how sweet! he was reproted to be "overcome with joy at scoring (why shouldn't he!) and after celebrating wildly he took time out to run over and shake manager Rafael Benitez by the hand. =) they were my two favouritest men at that moment! i missed the confident way Cisse played when he first came, and now he's regaining his full strength gradually. fantastic!! i just cant get enough of him lah.. haha. oh! just remembered my wager with sarah last year at the spurs match. i swore to dye my hair red like him if he's scored then, but he didnt. maybe i'd dye it when he scores the 17th goal of the season? haha!
morientes was good too. if only he would find his form. carra got to captain the team!! yay. haha but hope stevie G recovers soon. he's lost too many playing chances to injuries, poor lad. one more thing, i'm quite pissed at the way people keep boo-ing Crouch for his goalscoring duck, hello?! he's a darn good striker la. clever positioning, intuitive play and all. try achieving his level of finesse in footwork when you're THAT tall. anyway if strikers are expected to score every single match for them to be legendary, how come Alan Shearer, the undisputed premiership goalscoring king have only 240 goals to his name with 373 appearances? (i find this impressive btw)
i like fast cars and i cannot lie. you other sisters can't deny!
